What an outrage
I know the term "Western intelligence" can be marvelled at/misused/mocked as much as anyone wants, but the fourth paragraph of that piece stands out as somewhat startling however you want to interpret the story subjects, the journo, his sources, whatever 'consensus', etc...:
"The visit probably brought Bush closer to Osama bin Laden than at any time since 2001. Western intelligence believes the al-Qaeda leader is sheltering among sympathisers in the northern tribal zone, as little as 100 miles away."
